Kim and Steve Nurding purchased the Officer's Inn from the Oregon State Dept. of Parks and Recreation over six years ago.  We've met some wonderful people since then, and some others, too!

Kim is the primary Innkeeper and a wonderful cook, leaning heavily on the recipe's of her German grandparents.  She scoffs at modern cookbooks and doesn't measure anything.

Steve pinch-hits when Kim needs a break.  An Engineer during his normal "day job", Steve is utterly dependent on written cooking instructions, and follows them exactly.  Steve loves to cook, and can do a few dishes very well indeed (usually by following Kim's written instructions to the letter)

Kim cooks using a "series" method, where she does each step in sequence.  Steve cooks using a "parallel" method, where everything comes to a massive creshendo at the same time.

Ravyn cleans and prepares your room, and helps to serve breakfast on busy mornings.  Ravyn's charms and excellent work ethic will take her far.  We're lucky to have Ravyn helping at the Officer's Inn, and you'll like her, too!
