Fort Clatsop

Fort Clatsop, where the Lewis and Clark expedition spent their winter in 1805, is only a few miles from the Officer's Inn Bed and Breakfast. In 1805 Fort Clatsop was the only housing for Army Officers on this side of the Missisippi River. But in 1905 the Officer's Inn was built at Fort Stevens, so you'll have a much more luxurious place to stay.
